The rapidly expanding availability of digital resources has led to dramatic re-thinking of models for teacher-student interaction, and uncertain implications as these changes are implemented. We will look at the current landscape of digital learning, including frameworks for adopting digital curriculum, sources of open resources, and the myth and reality of why this is a good road to pursue. Participants will investigate the pedagogy and shift in teacher thinking that occurs before implementing a flipped program in their schools and districts. They will also discuss the practical implementation of a flipped approach in an elementary, middle school and high school classroom.
The session will be held 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in MDE Conference Center B, room CC-15. There is no charge to the participant, but lunch is not provided. Please visit the following link to register for the upcoming networking session. Space is limited to 90 participants.
