The new ELM databases were just announced last week, and they contain some exciting options for the K-12 set. In addition to the Gale products, like Discovering Collection and Kids InfoBits, that are currently available through ELM, there's a new suite of K-12 databases from EBSCO, an art image database from OCLC called CAMIO, and an encyclopedia database from Britannica. See them all here: http://blog.lib.umn.edu/minitex/reference/2009/06/new_statewide_dat.... These will be available starting July 1st, and Minitex will be offering all sorts of online training sessions in using them shortly thereafter. We're also very willing to do in-person training sessions to groups of folks - just drop me a line for more info.
And please, please, please tell your media specialist friends about ELM. We run across too many people who don't know about this valuable and already-paid-for set of resources!
