Congratulations on your MYRA award! That's great! I have been looking on the website, but it hasn't been updated with this year's info or activities. Maybe we will have to send each other our projects by email! I am finishing up my group's quiz-bowl questions.

Media in Edina is flex. Of a sort. They really do it well--each class has a scheduled literature time each week, that is not a prep. Teachers stay to help kids find books! Nice collaboration opportunity! Then the remaining times (tech skills, research) are scheduled as needed through out the year. It is more work than straight prep, but definitely best practice! Lots of admin support, and staff is very open to collaboration.
